Guide to finishing your invitations

Hand finishing yourself is considerably less expensive for you and is a very simple process. It also gives you more time to decide on colour schemes.

If you do decide to finish yourself, we recommend that you buy ribbon from the following outlets:

RSVP Invitation ribbon application guide

1. Buy a fabric glue or Hot Glue Gun
2. Each design will require approximately 1 yard per card of ribbon or leather
3. Cut the trimming into strips of approx 1 yard
4. Turn the invitation so that the inside is facing the surface down
5. Apply a small amount of glue over the RSVP Weddings Logo on the back of the card
6. Place the center of the pre-cut ribbon over the glue
7. Leave to dry for at least 30 mins with glued surface facing up

Do not stack cards when wet as this could cause them to stick together.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: RSVP Weddings Abroad and RSVP Weddings Designer Wedding Stationery Ireland will not produce art work for wedding stationery until a deposit payment and order form has been received. Clients agree that printing is to be carried out by a separate printing company not related to RSVP Weddings. RSVP Weddings Abroad and RSVP Weddings Designer Wedding Stationery require 21 days for printing from the time that the order and deposit payment is received. Payments are non refundable. Only changes supplied to RSVP Wedding Stationery and RSVP Weddings Abroad in an email format can be guaranteed to appear on the final design. Where edits are required to artwork, RSVP will provide no more than 2 sets of artwork copy. It is the responsibility of the client to check mock ups for typos and errors before approving artwork. No artwork will be printed until the client has received a pdf and confirmed approval by return email.
